Making risk legible
before capital moves.
Provides advisory for high-value risks, capital projects, and government-run health schemes across MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South Asia — with the discipline of one firm, no matter which advisory line the engagement sits in.
A specialist advisory,
not a general practice.
Umbra was established in 2025 and is filed with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. The firm is built around four advisory lines — Risk Management, Project Development, Marketing Research, and Feasibility Studies — each handled to the same standard: a written scope, a named principal, and a deliverable that holds up under audit.
We work with clients whose exposure is high-impact. Insurers transferring catastrophe risk. Project developers bringing industrial and infrastructure assets to financial close. Governments designing health schemes that have to operate at population scale. The work is technical, the decisions are irreversible, and the room for comfortable generalism is small.
Four Advisory Lines. One Discipline — Making Risk Legible Before Capital Moves.
Engaged globally.
Anchored in DUBAI.
Umbra is registered at the Cayan Business Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, Barsha Heights, Dubai. The city is the firm's operating base — but the work travels: reinsurance treaties in the GCC, mining-project feasibility across West Africa, public-health scheme design for ministries in Lusophone and Anglophone Africa, and project-development advisory across South Asia.
Four disciplines, one
Operating Standard.
Every engagement — whether a reinsurance treaty review or a power-project feasibility — runs through the same four-step cycle. The deliverable changes; the discipline does not.
